Hansen International sponsors A Ride to Remember 2019

Lexington, SC – a local Lexington business, Hansen International, in partnership with Fort Dorchester High School Bake Shop sponsored two riders for A Ride to Remember 2019. This ride is a South Carolina-based bicycle ride that raises funds and awareness for those afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease along with their care givers. The cyclists commit to riding 252 miles across South Carolina in a three day event.
Paul & AJ Czeresko (FDHS Cookie Monsters) were required to raise a minimum donation of $750. Lisa Beebe, President of Hansen International committed to raising awareness of this event at Hansen as well as matching funds for all employee contributions allowing Paul and AJ to far exceed their minimum donation. As President, Mrs. Beebe has shown a deep commitment to her employees and important issues that affect many South Carolinians.
The mid-July ride was a great success in both the riders’ ability to complete it and the fund raising campaign. As of July 30, 2019, The South Carolina chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association raised a record $546,201.54. Thank you Hansen International, Fort Dorchester HS Bake Shop and the riders for the support of a worthy cause.

About Fort Dorchester High School Bake Shop
Fort Dorchester High School Bake Shop located at Fort Dorchester HS is a baking program for high schoolers of all grades. A segment of the baking program is taught under the instruction of Chef Czeresko. He teaches students cooking and baking skills from beginner to advanced. This program provides students with real-life knowledge of the baking industry.
